# Rear access and assembly review

The workbench contains20 printed pieces and13 electronic reference models. Electronic models are not printing instructions. A higher count is not automatically better or worse: each additional joint needs locating features, fasteners, assembly clearance and a real first-fit check.

The existing rear exterior comprises the rear lower shell and rear crown, with a rear service blank and touch cartridge. They were present in CAD but the browser service page automatically removed them at startup. That behavior is corrected: the complete cover starts installed; Open back / Close back acts on these four rear pieces only. These controls do not certify the physical removal sequence or fastener access.

Keep separate for the first fit: front/rear covers, bottom service cover, speaker grilles and retaining adapters, removable electronics rack, and adjustable power tray. These separations provide access or component retention. Preserve the original smooth shell geometry while reviewing joints.

Candidates to consolidate only after selecting the printer and validating assembly: upper/lower crown splits, and upper/lower rack with splice plates. Combining these increases the print envelope and may require redesigned joints. Do not glue everything into one unserviceable shell simply to lower the count.

The proposed adapter, cable harnesses, battery and power distribution remain unselected. Their interfaces, wire bend radii, connector access, rack extraction and final screw schedule must be checked physically before releasing a full print. Current electronic proxies and sampled removal paths are not an assembled wiring test.
